Kama

Much like Reimondo™ Tonfa are based on a traditional design but with design elements especially incorporated for use in serious weapons training, our Kama design also follows a traditional format but with aspects which make them safer and easy to use. For example, as well as being hand made from selected hardwoods such a European and American Oak, they feature a flat face on each side of the shaft. This is to ensure that when used in reverse grip that there is little likelihood of the back of the thigh being cut by holding the weapon at the wrong angle.
Further, the end of the shaft features a small pommel in order that when sliding the hand down from a punching position to a cutting position, you will be far less likely to drop the weapon. As with our other weapons, the Reimondo™ Kama are available in two formats.
