Kata Kama

Reimondo™ Kata Kama are made from a combination of materials - the shaft is from solid oak and the blades are from stainless steel. Designed  especially for the performance of classical Kama Kata rather than modern forms, this is a serious weapon in every respect. From the shape of the shaft featuring it's pommel to facilitate easy handling, to the shape of the blade, these Kama rival anything else to be found on the market.  

The stainless steel head means that when changing from normal to reverse grip, the weapon has an excellent "drop", assisting the martial artist in the performance of kama technique.  Due to the weight of these weapons, they are unsuitable for modern creative forms where the weapon is twirled at a high speed for effect.  It's sole purpose is to allow the serious practitioner of classical weaponry to reach the best possible standard of performance
